The fate of the Parties in Nandyal By-Election is sealed and will be decided on 28th of this month. For some reason, YSR Congress is not looking as confident as they were before the voting and TDP is keeping a brave face. Exit Polls indicate that the ruling party may steer out comfortably.
YSR Congress Spokespersons who appeared on the TV after polling did not sound so confident. More than any other exit poll, Lagadapati Rajagopal, popularly known as Andhra Octopus, went on to say that TDP will be winning the election with a comfortable majority.
He even added that the high voter turnout will only mean higher majority to TDP. This has disappointed YSR Congress leaders and fans more than anything. Jagan has converted a simple by-election into a Prestigious one and will have to face the brunt if lost.
He himself campaigned for 13 days in the constituency and that too at a place, YSR Congress is known to be strong. The momentum gained by YSR Congress will be all lost if the result does not come in their favour and that would be a huge factor for 2019 elections. Jagan will be hoping that Lagadapati will be wrong for the first time.
