Even If People Like KCR, They Expect To Have A Good MLA

KTR - KCRTelangana Rashtra Samiti is already in election mode having declared candidates for more than 100 seats. Some of the candidates have already begun campaigning. Except for three seats, KCR has given seats to all the sitting MLAs without any fear of anti-incumbency.

Telangana Minister KTR gave an exclusive interview to an English Newspaper and in the interview, he was asked about a large number of MLAs facing the anti-incumbency but still managed to get tickets from the ruling party.

For that, KTR came up with an answer which is definitely not in good taste. “We strongly believe that People vote for the TRS to make KCR the Chief Minister. They don’t look at the candidates,” the IT Minister told. This is a very arrogant and disappointing answer.

India is a democracy and we do not have autocracy to vote for one person. From top to bottom, all the people’s representatives have to work responsibly and effectively to take the state or the nation forward. Just because people love KCR, he cannot thrust the inefficient onto the people. That is an insult to the Democracy
