YSR Congress government is continuing to dole freebies even as the state finances are painting a grim picture. In the cabinet meeting concluded a little while ago, it is decided that every woman belonging to the Kapu Community will be given 15,000 Rupees every year.
This will be applicable to every woman in the community who is above 45 years. The woman will be benefitted 75000 Rupees in the next five years. The Government is going on rolling out populist schemes without any rationale and with the only motive of appeasing voters.
This is even as the Government is almost nearing the end of borrowing limits for this year and is now depending on the sale of Government lands and assets. There are no chances of Wealth Generation in the near future with investments moving out of Andhra Pradesh.
The Scheme will be called YSR Kapu Nestham and the Cabinet had decided to allocate 1101 Crore for this Scheme.
