Reports say that they got evidences about the tapping under the supervision of a Telangana IPS officer. It is already known to our readers that Andhra Pradesh government had alleged the tapping of 120 phones belonging to AP CM, Ministers, MLAs, Bureaucrats and their families.

Andhra Pradesh government and AP DGP Ramudu had formally lodged a complaint to the Center to investigate in to the issue. They claim that they have preliminary evidences of tapping by Telangana government. They even claim that Telangana government tapped these phones via a private agency. If the allegation is true, the case will become further serious.

Phone Tapping is a serious crime in India. Only Union Home Secretary can issue permissions for phone tapping when he is convinced that national security is at risk by some one. In 1988, Karnataka Chief Minister Ramakrishna Hegde was forced to resign over the allegations of phone tapping on opposition parties and businessmen in the state.
