Union Government had finished one more round of Governors Appointment but has indicated that it will continue with ESL Narasimhan as the Governor of both the Telugu States for the time being. This came as a surprise to everyone since Narasimhan is a UPA nominee.
He was continued even by the NDA government as he is well versed in the problems between AP and Telangana. He has completed his term by May this year and will continue for some more time until a replacement is announced which is not in near future.
Sources say that Narasimhan is a close associate of National Security Adviser Ajit Doval which comes as an advantage to him. Buzz is that more than the issue of finding a replacement, Doval’s recommendation is helping Narasimhan.
