ED Files Two More Chargesheets On JaganThe Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed two more chargesheets against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the disproportionate assets case. The ED attached the chargesheets in connection to the ongoing Vanpic case and the Lepakshi Knowledge Hub case.

The ED has submitted the two chargesheets to the court and if the court takes the two cases into consideration, then summons are to be issued against the accused. So far, the ED has filed 11 chargesheets officially. And out of the 11, the officials have submitted papers to the court for seven cases.

Currently, the court is probing the documents submitted on seven chargesheets. Meanwhile, When YSR was the chief minister, Nimmagadda Prasad took up the Vanpic project. The then government allotted 24 thousand acres for this. However, there are allegations of quid-pro-quo deal in this.

After this, the CBI has registered cases that Nimmagadda Prasad had invested an amount of Rs 850 crores in Jagan’s company. In this regard, ED has issued fresh chargesheets on Jagan. Similarly, in Anantapur, the government has allocated thousands of acres of land for Lepakshi Knowledge Hub. However, with no concern about developments, the lands were mortgaged to banks. A similar quid-pro-quo scam happened and ED has filed a chargesheet in this case too.
