Amaravati Buildings Energy Neutral Government ComplexAndhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has decided to make all public buildings in the Amaravati Government Complex energy neutral in a bid to make Andhra Pradesh the world’s largest stock of net energy neutral public buildings at a single place in the upcoming capital city of Amaravati.

A comprehensive design guidelines document is being prepared by the experts with the technical support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). The Designs are expected to be completed by Mid-2017. Naidu plans to apply this concept of energy-efficient buildings all over Amaravati in due course.

Currently, the state government is in the process of finalizing the designs of the Iconic Buildings in the Capital and all the other government buildings including the iconic buildings will be incorporated with Energy Neutral Technology. The benefits of energy neutral buildings will far outweigh the construction costs, the experts claim.
