Election-Commissioner-N-Ramesh-Kumar-Not-to-Come-to-Andhra-PradeshState Election Commissioner N Ramesh Kumar has come under severe criticism from the Ruling Party Leaders for postponing the local elections. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy himself lead the charge by making caste allegations on the Retired IAS Officer.

Ramesh Kumar had written a scathing letter complaining about the State Government to the Union Home Ministry. The Home Ministry immediately responded by deploying Central Forces at his office in Vijayawada. Sources say that Ramesh Kumar is still afraid of his safety and has decided to work from his Hyderabad office.

“Unless it is absolutely necessary, Ramesh Kumar will not be coming to Andhra Pradesh,” a source in his office told us. Meanwhile, the Home Ministry had confirmed receiving the letter and also revealed that they will give written instructions to the State Government regarding Ramesh Kumar’s safety.

Interestingly, even today, Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy addressed a Press Meet finding fault with the decision to postpone the elections.
