Sakshi Newspaper this morning published a Survey which has predicted 240 seats to BJP. The Survey gave 150 seats to UPA and another 150 to the rest of the parties. Sakshi may be hinting the importance of other parties particularly that of YSR Congress to form the next government.
While everything is fine, this report did not go well with the Election Commission. Due to the Model Code of Conduct, all the media houses are barred from releasing any Surveys till the last phase of the General Elections is complete on 19th of this month. This is a clear violation and the Election Commission may reprimand Sakshi for it.
TRS and YSR Congress are hoping that there would be a hung government at the center and they would get 30-35 seats together to play a key role at the Center. It has to be seen if their ploy works out. Jagan would be relieved from all his cases in case YSR Congress is a part of the Central Government.
