Election Commission of India has applied brakes to the speed of Telangana BJP party. The Commission has stalled BJP’s campaign – ‘Saalu Siru.. Selavu Siru’.
BJP had applied for ECI’s permission to print posters of ‘Saalu Siru.. Selavu Siru’ alleging that CM KCR indulged in massive corruption.
The Election Commission had said that it will not allow personal targeting of leaders without any proofs.
TRS and BJP are at loggerheads with each other for the past one year or so. BJP is trying to establish its foothold in Telangana ever since the Dubbaka By-election.
TRS had targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi with banners and posters alleging massive corruption and anti-people policies. The ‘Saalu Siru.. Selavu Siru’ is a campaign is a revenge for that.
Meanwhile, Telangana will witness one more By-election may be in December due to the resignation of Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy in Manugode.
