Bringing down curtains on the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid issue, one of the longest-running title disputes in India, the Supreme Court has given its historical verdict the other day. Ram Janmabhoomi Trust is given the rights over the entire disputed 2.77-acre land for the construction of the Temple.
The Apex court also tried to balance things by announcing 5 acres of alternate land to the Sunni Wakf Board. Reports are that the Temple construction will begin on April 2nd, 2020 on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami and the construction will take two to three years to complete.
UP Government also started shortlisting alternative sits for the mosque. VHP already finalized a design for the Temple and it would be made of all rock without using a gram of iron. 180,000 stone slabs were ready for the construction and the government will also construct roads to the Temple site for the easy transportation of the construction material.
Buzz in the Political circles is that the Modi Government wants to complete and inaugurate the temple before the next elections. The government would obviously want to showcase the Temple as its success before seeking a third term.Don't MissKCR's Car Tramples Opposition in Municipal ElectionsAfter a little upset in the Parliament Elections, Telangana Rashtra Samiti is at the helm...Don't MissLokesh Files A Defamation Case on SakshiTDP MLC and Former Minister Nara Lokesh has filed a defamation case against YS Jagan...Don't Miss2500 Acres of Amaravati For Land for the Poor Scheme?Andhra Pradesh Government is taking steps to ensure that the Capital is not shifted to...Don't MissNaidu Has Very Little To Worry About Scrapping the CouncilYSR Congress has initiated a discussion in the Assembly about the scrapping of Council.
