A casino arranged in Minister Kodali Nani‘s Gudivada constituency raked a huge political controversy way back for Sankranthi.
Back then, a guy called Praveen Chikkoti organized it and there were rumors that he is a close aide of Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi and Kodali Nani.
Enforcement Directorate has raided Praveen’s house in IS Sadan, Hyderabad.
ED is also raiding seven other places belonging to Praveen. Cases were registered on him for FEMA violations.
Praveen organized a casino in Nepal in the month of June and took his customers on a flight from Hyderabad.
Rumors in the political circles are that ED is eyeing Praveen for a long time and may unearth all the transactions including that of Gudivada Casino.
TDP alleges that the YSR Congress leaders behind Praveen will also be in trouble.
The casino issue also played a role in Kodali Nani losing his cabinet berth.
With elections fast approaching, the issue can be trouble for the ruling party if it really goes to that extent.
