Bhanwar-Lal-election-ommissionerRefuting Telangana CM KCR’s claims that votes with out Aadhar number link will be removed, State Chief Election Commissioner Bhanwarlal confirmed that it can not be done. Bhanwarlal confirmed that votes will not be removed if there is no Aadhar linkage but will be removed only if the concerned person is not residing at the given address. This is also done at three instances of home visits by the authorities.

According to EC reports, there are 40 Lakh bogus votes in both the Telugu states. In order to make sure that settlers do not vote for GHMC elections, TRS is alleging that they have dual votes in AP and Telangana and so they are not giving their Aadhar number for their votes in Telangana.

The Chief Minister himself said that there are 15 Lakh Bogus votes in Hyderabad which are to be removed as they can change the dynamics of the state politics. Currently Aadhar linkage to votes is not mandatory but EC is insisting on the linkage to prevent bogus votes.
