Dravid Not Interested To Coach Team IndiaTeam India’s Head Coach Ravi Shastri has informed the BCCI that he would quit his position after the T20 World Cup. BCCI will very soon begin the exercise to fill the vacancy with another Coach. Bowling coach Bharat Arun, fielding coach R. Sridhar and batting coach Vikram Rathour’s contracts are also ending after the World Cup.

The media is abuzz with the reports that Rahul Dravid is the frontrunner for the most coveted position of the World Cricket. But it looks like Dravid is not interested. The former Indian Cricket legend has re-applied for NCA’s Head of Cricket post.

He is the sole applicant for the post. His interest in that position means he is not interested to apply for Team India’s Head Coach. Buzz is that Rahul Dravid is not keen as Head Coach position means being away from family for a long time.

Virender Sehwag is interested in the role but will take it up only if the interview and other selection processes are bypassed.
