It is now day 3 of Donald Trump’s first international visit as a President and there is much awkwardness to show for it. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump is currently in Israel for the administration’s first international trip where they were met with Israeli President Reuven Pivlin and his wife, Nechama Rivlin.
But when the US delegation landed in Tel Aviv, Israel, Donald Trump reached a hand backward to his wife while Melania appeared to be having nothing of it. She flicked the President’s hand away while Trump proceeded to adjust his suit and tie following the rejection!
Needless to say, the video of the incident provided much fodder to Twitter users and tweets making fun of the President were soon to follow. One user tweeted out “Looks like Melania doesn’t want to even hold hands with Donald Trump. Not a good sign from the wife.” Interestingly, Melania was seen holding the hands of her Israeli counterpart throughout the meet!
