It is known to our readers that four lorry workers – Arif, Chennakeshavulu, Naveen, and Siva are arrested in the Gruesome rape and murder of Hyderabad based Veterinarian now named Disha. They were shifted to Cherlapally Jail on Saturday night and on Sunday, they had a hearty meal with Mutton.
They were reportedly given Pulihora as Breakfast on Sunday and for dinner, they were given food weighing 250 gms in which Mutton is served. The jail inmates get non-vegetarian food every Sunday, according to the rules. They were placed in barracks where high-security prisoners like those involved in terror-related cases will be put in.
This is to prevent them from committing suicides or anybody attacking them. Interestingly, there are cameras only in the Cherlapally Central Prison to maintain surveillance around the high-security barracks where those involved in terror cases are lodged.
There is no such facility at any other prison. They are currently on a 14 days remand booked under several sections including some sections which can get them the death sentence.
