Congress high command has finally removed Digvijay Singh as the in charge of Andhra Pradesh Congress. Digvijay Singh is the center of several controversies during the separate state agitation and could not help Congress in AP as well as Telangana.
4 years after the state division, Congress is dead in AP and is on a ventilator in Telangana. Congress high command has brought in former Kerala Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy as the new in-charge for Andhra Pradesh Congress.
Oommen Chandy lost Assembly elections in Kerala in 2016 and is now being deployed to repair Andhra Pradesh Congress. The party is on the verge of extinction. The Party has got Zero seats in the last elections. It is reduced to a 2-3% party in AP after ruling the state for several terms.
