After that, at least two dates were announced for the launching of this scheme, but it was deferred on both the occasions even without Nimmagadda Ramesh or anyone’s intervention. The scheme was supposed to happen tomorrow coinciding with the birth anniversary of his father and former chief minister late YS Rajasekhar Reddy.
The Government deferred the scheme citing the non-completion of the necessary land acquisition. If the land acquisition was not completed for July 8th, it will be no way completed for March 25th which is when Nimmagadda Ramesh halted it. So, all that anguish on Nimmagadda is more of political reasons and nothing due to the poor, TDP alleges.
The latest we hear is that the Government is planning to launch this scheme on August 15th as Independence Day Special.
