Did You Ever Fix Peg For Me?: KCRThe war of words is on between TRS and BJP in Telangana. We have seen Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao call for a Pressmeet last night in Pragathi Bhavan and criticize the BJP on issues from paddy procurement to National Security.

BJP State President Bandi Sanjay also called for a Pressmeet and lambasted KCR in his own style. In the Presser, Sanjay hurled abuses on the Chief Minister and called him a drunkard. Like never before in the past, KCR called for another Pressmeet and hit back at the allegations of Bandi.

This is the first time KCR has addressed the media two days in a row after becoming CM in 2014. During his presser, KCR came hard on Bandi Sanjay‘s foul language. “You say I drink booze. Did you ever fix peg for me? Did you ever serve booze for me? Can you talk like this? Is this your culture? Is this what your Gurus taught you?,” KCR questioned in his own style.

He also responded to Bandi’s comments about plowing KCR’s farmhouse. “Does my farmhouse belong to your father? (Nee Ayyadha naa farmhouse?) I earned with my sweat and hard work. I bought all those lands and have records. I show it in my election affidavit and IT Returns. You are talking to KCR. Mind it. We are fighters. We do not fear anyone,” KCR warned Bandi.

KCR once again appealed for farmers not to sow paddy in Rabi season. “We can not trust this Central Government. Do not fall for these people who do not have responsibility. They did not even respond to the challenge of getting a letter from the Center. Don’t believe them and fall in trouble,” KCR appealed.

KCR also clarified that the Dalit Bandhu scheme will go on and asked Dalits not to believe the Opposition. “Until March, Dalit families of Huzurabad will be given. All the selected four mandals will be covered. 100 families in all other constituencies will be given. From the next budget, 23,000 Crore will be allocated for the scheme. By the time of elections, the scheme will cover 5-6 Lakh Dalit families,” KCR explained.
