Did Vijaysai Reddy Try To Mislead the Parliament? The Privilege Committee of the Parliament has declared that YSR Congress Rajya Sabha MP Vijaysai Reddy had made a false complaint that he had been attacked at Visakhapatnam airport on 26 January 2017. The Privilege Committee has submitted the 70th Report to the Lok Sabha on the steps taken to resolve complaints of violation of the rights of Members of Parliament.

The report also pertained to the complaint filed by Vijayasaireddy. The Privilege Committee clarified that there was no evidence that Vijayasai was attacked that day. Various groups have called for a rally for special status on 26 January 2017 at RK Beach, Visakhapatnam. Jagan, Vijayasai, and other leaders boarded a flight from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam but the police did not allow them since an investment conference is happening in the city the next day.

A video went viral on social media in which Vijaysai is trying to push his way out of the police cover. But then, he complained to the Privilege committee saying that police have behaved rudely with him and attacked him. The Privilege Committee, which examined the complaint, found that he had made a false complaint.

TDP is now demanding that action should be taken on the MP for trying to mislead the Parliament.
