Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is doing all he can do to put the officials on their toes to reach the respective targets of development. The Chief Minister has directed to link the progress of all the developmental activities in the districts to CM dashboard, an initiative which will bring transparency to the administration.
Till now, all the 34 departments have been sharing day-to-day information including progress of work in roads, irrigation canals, attendance of employees, rainfall data, ground water level and even liquor sales. Going further, HODs, District functionaries will be tagged to various development works and this is seen as a revolutionary move in the administrative reforms.
The Chief Minister going forward wants to take the real-time governance further to the field level by linking the revenue divisional level progress to the dashboard. It is likely to happen in a couple of months. Information pertaining to about 207 government wings from 34 departments is frequently updated in the dashboard right now and the visitors to the site are swelling day by day like never before for a government site.
