IT Pioneer and Legend, Bill Gates who is in Andhra Pradesh in November for the Valedictory Session of AP AgriTech Summit 2017 organized by Andhra Pradesh government wrote a letter of appreciation to the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for making the state an innovation hub in Agriculture.
Bill Gates appreciated Naidu saying that Agritech Summit is the example of the Chief Minister’s far-sightedness. He also extended all support to Soil Health Mapping and Best Agricultural Practises through his Bill Gates and Melinda Foundation.
Bill Gates also mentioned that Andhra Pradesh is ahead of other states in India in providing insurance to the highest percentage of the people. He went on to say that developing areas of the World should take Andhra Pradesh as the Role Model.
It is known to our readers that Naidu impressed Bill Gates for the first time more than a decade ago when the latter was the CEO of Microsoft. It ensured that Microsoft establish its first development Center outside the United States in Hyderabad and it triggered IT Growth in the city.
