YS-Vivekananda-Reddy-Case-Supreme-Court-TelanganaThe Supreme Court has given its verdict on the transfer of investigation into the murder case of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy. Viveka’s murder case has been transferred to Telangana.

Taking into consideration the fundamental rights, the Supreme Court has said that it is being transferred to the Hyderabad CBI court.

“There are proofs of tampering evidence in this case. It is quite unfortunate. A free and fair trial should happen to bring culprits to books,” the Supreme Court said.

It is known that Viveka’s daughter Sunitha Reddy has filed a petition seeking to transfer the trial of the case to another state saying that the accused are threatening the witnesses.

The CBI asked the Supreme Court not to shift the case to Telangana but asked for Karnataka. But still, the apex court transferred the case to Telangana.

Jagan Mohan Reddy has cordial relations with Telangana Government and that may be the reason for CBI asking so.

YS Vivekananda Reddy is the Uncle of the Chief Minister who was murdered just before the 2019 elections. Jagan blamed TDP during the election campaign.

Viveka’s daughter named YSRCP leaders as the suspects after the election and made direct allegations that Jagan Government is trying to save them.

She approached the Supreme Court saying that she does not trust the government. The Apex Court also agreed with her.

If the Chief Minister can not ensure a fair investigation in his own Uncle’s murder case, it is a big shame. Also, YCP leaders in this case also bring doubts about Jagan.
