Delay in Seat Sharing Questions Reliability of MahakutamiIt is a little more than Two Months since KCR dissolved the State Assembly. The Election Notification will be out tomorrow and the nominations will follow, Mahakutami – the Coalition of Congress, TDP, TJS, and CPI is yet to finalize the seat-sharing forget about the candidates’ selection and announcement.

Now, this delay by Congress is making the allies restless and is also hampering their poll preparation. KCR announcing 105 candidates on the same day of the Assembly Dissolution is playing on the back of the minds of the people and new questions are cropping up about the reliability of Mahakutami.

The Big Question is the alliance partners could not arrive at a consensus in two long months, can they provide a stable government, if elected? This kind of delay is not anything new for Congress. The Grand Old Party announced candidates at the last minute in 2004 elections and went on to win that election in Erstwhile Andhra Pradesh.

But KCR‘s Early Announcement has become a trouble for Congress and its allies. November 19th is the last date of Nominations in Telangana. The Scrutiny of Nominations will take place on the next day. November 22nd is the last date for withdrawal of nominations. Telangana will go for elections on December 7th and the results will be out on 11th.
