Deepa Jayakumar whose existence was not known till Jayalalithaa was admitted to apollo hospital back in September. She came into news after she complained of not allowing her to see her aunt at the hospital. Later after the demise, she was not even allowed have the last looks of her aunt and also to attend the funeral at Marina beach.
Now that she has got people’s attention after the interview, post the demise of Amma, she has started to move her pawns to enter the politics with the support of her Aunt’s followers. Today she declared that she would want to follow Jaya’s footsteps and step into the politics. In a former interview, she said that she wouldn’t hesitate to enter the politics to protect amma’s vision but hasn’t confirmed if she would.
A couple of Posters and Hoardings of Deepa has already been on display in Tamilnadu. These posters were made by Deepa’s supporters in which she looks same as Jayalalithaa with the style of wrapping the saree and waving at the people. She said that she would announce her plan of the startup on Jaya’s birthday in February.
