Dear Narendra Modi, Your Wishes Mean Nothing to Andhra PradeshToday is June 2nd. Telangana is celebrating its fourth Formation Day with Pomp and Gaiety while Andhra Pradesh is having the Nava Nirmana Deeksha taking an oath to commit for the state development. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter and wished both the states on this occasion.

In the context of AP, Narendra Modi tweeted, “Greetings to my sisters and brothers of Andhra Pradesh. I pray for the good health and prosperity of the people of the state (sic)”. Even as this wishes have come, Today’s Papers were filled with the news about how the Center is sitting on the 1089 Crore reimbursement to Polavaram.

Polavaram did not get a Single Paisa in the last Six Months. 1089 Crore towards 2017-18, Another 1400 Crore which was sanctioned, and another 350 Crore Reimbursement were sanctioned on Paper but were not released on the name of Technical Reasons.

As a mark of Protest, the State Government has informed the Center that it will not attend the meeting called by Union Water Resources Ministry on 11th of this month. Dear Prime Minister, Your Wishes are of no use if you do not show commitment to fulfilling the Promises to Andhra Pradesh.
