chandrababu naidu secretariat employeesGround Reports emerging from Andhra Pradesh suggest that people of the state are very angry on the Secretariat employees for imposing unreasonable demands to shift to Amaravati. No where in the state we see an employer yielding to the pressure of his employees but Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is going to that extent due to his past bitter experiences with employees which confined him to opposition for a decade.

People are vexed on seeing the employees who then promised to work under trees, now demanding that they should be given 500 square yards of house plots, double HRA to shift to Amaravati. They are even asking to arrange a non-stop train between Hyderabad and Vijayawada so that they can shuttle daily between the cities to do their jobs. These demands even when state is in a position to afford are quite unreasonable, as it only amounts to wastage of public money.

If Chandrababu yields to their pressure, he will also have to face the brunt of the angry people back home. The sacrifices of farmers in Amaravati, over 30000 acres are not for the whims and fancies of anyone, even the state government has no rights to squander those lands. Time for Naidu to act hard on the issue and straighten the employees.
