Strange are the ways of BJP particularly in AP. BJP State Leaders like Somu Veerraju, Purandhareshwari, and Kanna Lakshmi Narayana are known for their anti-TDP stand. We do not know if they do that on their own agenda or on the insistence of the high command.
But then, they are all rattled with a single comment of Vijayawada MP, Kesineni Nani. The TDP MP went on to say TDP lost votes due to an alliance with BJP in 2014 elections. Immediately after this comment from Nani, BJP Leaders went on to say TDP is forgetting Alliance Dharma blah blah.
AP BJP Unit never followed so-called Alliance Dharma be it in making comments on TDP government, entertaining Opposition Leaders, giving liberal funds to the state etc. Chandrababu is, however, sailing the ship by maintaining good relations with the center.
2 Years ahead of the elections, BJP can not expect TDP to remain calm and take the rants of the Saffron Party. Kesineni’s comments may not be out of thin air all of sudden, people who know Chandrababu closely are aware that this is Naidu’s mark communication of tough things.
