Daggubati Venkateswara Rao had blown conch against the Congress High Command. He registered his protest against the High command by not voting for the three candidates fielded by Congress Party in the Rajya Sabha elections. He pressed the NOTA button (None Of The Above) as a mark of protest against Congress High command regarding the state bifurcation issue and for not respecting sentiments of Seema Andhra people. He also announced that he already made his choice clear to CM Kiran Kumar Reddy.
There are rumours from many days that Daggubati Venkateswara Rao and his wife, Central Minister, Purandhareeswari are conteomplating to quit congress party. They are reportedly eyeing to jump the wall and join BJP party. There are rumours that Purandhareeswari might be contesting from Vijayawada or Vishakapatnam parliament from BJP. In the wake of Daggubati’s NOTA vote, it is clear that this rumours may be heading towards reality.
