Congress President Rahul Gandhi has summoned PCC President Raghuveera Reddy and AP Congress Incharge Oommen Chandy to Delhi on 25th of this month to decide the future course of action about the alliance between TDP and Congress. while things look almost certain a month ago, adverse results in Telangana Elections pushed Congress to a dilemma.
But then, Congress Party is in a deep shambles in Andhra Pradesh and may not have many options. Rahul Gandhi will give a direction to the State Unit about how to go forward in the next few months. On the other side, there are mixed opinions about the alliance in the TDP as well.
Some are of the opinion that it may be too risky given that Congress is still seen as a Villain in the state while others say the 1-2% Votebank Congress brings can come handy as there is going to be a three-way contest in the upcoming Elections. The decision of Chandrababu Naidu may become crucial in the entire scenario.
