Telangana survey inside story

TRS Party had promised a double bed room flat to each of the deserving family in the state before the elections. The August 19th survey is also intended to identify the beneficiaries of this scheme. But the Chief Minister had asked the officials to be extra careful while identifying the beneficiaries as this scheme will cost a bomb to the government. Telangana government has estimated that the expenditure per flat would cross Rs 8 lakh in the city and Rs 6 lakh in rural areas with the steep increase in prices of cement, steel and other construction costs.

Government after collecting data from the survey will match them with the database available with RTA and Stamps and Registration departments to find whether they match with the details declared by the households. The government already announced that giving wrong data in this survey may lead to legal implications.
