Sunrisers Hyderabad SRH player T Natarajan The COVID-19 scare has yet again entered into the ongoing IPL season. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) player T. Natarajan has tested positive today. This comes close to the heels of the SRH vs DC match today in Dubai. While he is asymptomatic, Natarajan tested positive at a scheduled RT-PCR test.

However, the BCCI ruled that it will not hamper the match, as it will go as per the schedule. Along with T. Natarajan, the other six members who have been in close contact have been isolated.

The other members who were close in contact with T. Natarajan were team manager Vijay Kumar, team doctor Anjana Vannan, Vijay Shankar, physiotherapist Shyam Sundar J, logistics manager Tushar Khedkar, and net bowler Periyasamy Ganesan.

Meanwhile, this comes as a shocker to left-arm pacer Natarajan as he was away in the first leg due to an injury. And now being tested COVID positive, he has to remain in isolation for 10-days. And before joining his team, he has to test negative twice.

It is worth mentioning that this is the first COVID scare of IPL second leg kick as the first leg got postponed in the month of May after multiple reports of team members contracting COVID.
