In what can be termed as a big embarrassment for Ambati Rambabu, a District Court in Guntur ordered a case against the Minister.
Janasena leaders complained at the police station that YSR Congress leaders were selling tickets in Sattenapalli under the name of Sankranti lucky draw in the name of Ambati Rambabu.
As the police did not register a case, Janasena leader Gade Venkateswara Rao filed a petition in the Guntur court.
The court, which conducted an inquiry into the matter and found prima-facie evidence in this issue.
The court directed the police to immediately register a case against Minister Ambati and conduct an investigation.
Ambati Rambabu has been facing severe anti-incumbency in his constituency. While Ambati is very active in the media criticizing opponents, there is so much of a gap between the minister and the people of his constituency. There are rumors that he will have to change the constituency in the coming election.
