YS Jagan BailNampally CBI Court has taken up another hearing of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Bail Revocation case today. Lawyers for YSR Congress Rebel MP Raghurama Krishna Raju have filed rejoinders against the counter given by Jagan.

Jagan’s lawyers asked the court to give time to file counters on Raghurama’s rejoinders. The CBI court denied saying that it can not allow further counters and directed the lawyers to start arguments on the rejoinders directly. The court adjourned until 2.30 pm to hear the arguments.

Legal experts say that this is a crucial development and it looks like the court is keen on disposing of the case as soon as possible. It will be interesting to see how the lawyers go about the arguments in this case especially as the Chief Minister not attending the court proceedings after coming to power is clearly seen.

“If the court gave time for Jagan’s lawyers, they would have got at least two weeks time. They can further ask for an extension of a week or two. This can delay the case. By denying the chance and moving on to arguments, the court denied any chance for the delay,” they say observing the court proceedings.
