Court slashes YSRCP supporter's PIL on AmaravatiA YSR Congress supporter claiming to be a social activist filed a case in Hyderabad High Court over Amaravati Land Pooling. A man from Guntur district, Gandikota Kamalakar Rao filed a PIL alleging massive irregularities in the land pooling method adopted in Amaravati. The Land scam allegations made by Sakshi Newspaper is the basis for the case.

However the court slashed the case the other day terming that it is not admissible. The complainant at one point argued that when YS Jagan Mohan Reddy can be investigated by a PIL registered by a public servant, his PIL should also be taken in to consideration. However the court did not agree with the view and dismissed it.

The PIL referred to Municipal Minister Narayana and some key departments of the government as fraudulent in this scam. It is known that Sakshi alleged that TDP leaders own 25000 out of the total 33000 acres pooled for Amaravati. Chief Minister Chandrababu challenged in the house to provide some prime facie evidence so that he will immediately take action on his man but the opposition did not react to the challenge.
