As per a report in NBC Washington and several other reports from reliable sources, Queens Nursing Home is now charged with allegations that it has been under-reporting the number of deaths due to COVID-19 infection and keeping the family members either uninformed or under-reported
There seems to be a big difference in the number of deaths projected by the official sources and the actual deaths happening there. While the official reports claim that around 29 residents at NY Nursing Home had passed away, in reality, the number might be close to 600 plus.
Corona patients’ family members are unable to get information about their loved ones, and they have been worrying if the infected patients were left to their fate. In the New York State, the number of deaths has been alarming right from the time the positive cases sky-rocketed.
It’s not the case of just one Nursing Home at Queens, looks like the situation is quite deplorable and everyone is left in total confusion over the situation in the nursing homes that are crowded with corona positive patients and corpses. The disease is cruel and the present conditions have turned crueler.
