Shivadhar Reddy who is the Intelligence Chief of Telangana suddenly disappeared on a long leave when Phone Tapping controversy emerged after Cash for Vote scam.

Back then, his sudden disappearance became a talking point as the Chief investigating officer of the Cash for Vote case got changed midway which is very unusual in high-profile cases. And now, with YSR Congress MLA reaching out to ACB court to pin down Chandrababu Naidu in the case, Telangana ACB started re-investigation into the case.

And now, all of sudden, Telangana government transferred Shivadhar Reddy to an insignificant post of inspector general of police (personnel). The timing has come into the discussion once again now. Shivadhar Reddy is considered very close to the top brass of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS).

Shivadhar was appointed the Intelligence by TRS government immediately after Telangana state was formed in 2014. On the other side, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu filed a Squash Petition in Hyderabad High Court the other day over the ACB court’s ruling in Cash for Vote case. Naidu’s counsel put up papers that he is being falsely implied in this case and urged the court to strike off the ACB court’s order. It will come to hearing today.
