Congress High Command reportedly warned Telangana Congress Leadership not to be complacent regarding BJP political activity in the state trying to establish its foothold in the newest state of the country using the proposed Reservations for Muslims by TRS government.
AICC suspects that BJP is planning to polarize the Hindu vote in Telangana taking the Muslim quota Bill as a base. Telangana Congress leadership was asked not only to more aggressively spread the Congress agenda but also counter the BJP which is trying to divide the society in the name of religion.
BJP President Amit Shah is coming to Telangana later this month and will address a big meeting in Hyderabad which is a stronghold of MIM which pursues Muslim agenda. He will be coming to visit Telangana districts later in September. Congress will be observing BJP’s next move very closely.
