Four and half years seems to be a very long time in Politics and times have changed significantly at least in TDP Politics. Naidu who won 2014 elections in coalition with BJP used to be a regular attendee of the swearing-in ceremonies of all BJP Chief Ministers but now the friend has turned into a foe now.
Now, Naidu will be attending the swearing in ceremonies of Congress Chief Ministers in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh. Ashok Gehlot is finalized as the Chief Minister Candidate in Rajasthan while Kamalnath is going to be for Madhya Pradesh. TN Singh Deo is the frontrunner to be the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh.
Naidu will be invited for all the ceremonies in the State Capitals. This will also send an indication that the Congress Party still values the Association with Chandrababu even though a section of Polity in both the Telugu States is peddling that the alliance with TDP costed Congress in Telangana.
Congress recently cruised to Power in Three out of the Five States. This is the first Major Success for Congress ahead of 2019 General Elections. Also winning in Big States like Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan is a big Morale Booster for the Grand Old Party as it tries to unseat Narendra Modi.
