Congress Party and BJP entered in to a deal over Telangana Bill. The troubleshooters of Congress Party managed to convince BJP to allow Telangana Bill pass in Rajya Sabha. While BJP proposed 34 Amendments to the bill, Congress managed to keep it for 6 Amendments. Also these six will not be taken as amendments as the bill have to move again to Lok Sabha. Instead, Prime Minister will announce these things in his speech at Rajya Sabha.

Also Governor’s role over law and order in Common Capital will require constitutional amendment but Congress managed BJP to ignore it. In all probability, Telangana Bill will be passed in Rajya Sabha today.
