Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu today attended the listing ceremony of Amaravati Bonds at the Bombay Stock Exchange this morning. He also attended the round table conference of Business Delegates Promoting Brand Amaravati and to attract investments.
One of the delegates asked an interesting question to Naidu. “Sir, we are investing in Amaravati because you are promoting it and we are confident about your model of development. But what if you do not come to Power in 2019?, he asked. “I am coming back to Power in 2019 with better results. You can bet on me that,” Naidu said.
Earlier bonds worth ₹2,000 crore were floated by the A.P. Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA). The bonds were lapped up in a one-hour offer window on the BSE’s electronic platform on August 14. They were oversubscribed 1.53 times with the backing of A+ rating by CRISIL against the minimum investment grade of BBB.
