CM-YS-Jagan-Camp-Office-Andhra-University-Rumors are rife that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is preparing to have a camp office in Vishakapatnam. After running into legal hurdles in the creation of three capitals, Jagan is planning to work for three days from Vizag.

The CM believes Vizag automatically becomes the capital if he works from there.

The camp office is likely to be set up on the Andhra University campus. The CMO has asked to give Jubilee GuestHouse and Distance Education Campus for Government use.

These two buildings can be used as the camp office and CM’s residence. Some other buildings will be taken over and will be used to house the officials.

Initially, other options were considered but CM Jagan did not want to waste time on constructing new buildings. Also since the AU campus is really big, there will be no problem for Parking as well.

Earlier Andhra Pradesh High Court imposed a status quo on shifting any government office from Amaravati.

The Government wants to say it is not shifting any offices but is creating an additional facility in Visakhapatnam. Let us see how the High Court sees this!
