India's Popular CM spends 526 Crore for advertising!Called as India’s Most Popular Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal is struggling to live up to his reputation since he assumed office. The Delhi government recently set aside Rs 526.74 crore for information and publicity out of the total 41,129 crore in the current financial year budget.

While the Aam Admi government claims that the allocation is needed to battle the media’s propaganda of negative stories about the government. But AAP government has no answers as why most of the Delhi government advertisement even appear in other state newspapers.

This budget allocation is 2,200% more than the previous year’s allocation. However the government sources say all these claims are false as no department of the previous governments had ever given a proper budget for advertising undertaken by them and this time AAP government had put up a consolidated figure for all departments for advertisements, public outreach programmes and information outflow.
