TDP Rajya Sabha MP CM Ramesh launched an attack on Rajya Sabha Secretary and tried to snatch Andhra Pradesh Reorganization bill – 2014. Deputy Chairman Kurien warned them saying attacking the chair is undemocratic. However, other TDP MP, Sujana Chowdary argued with him asking if the proceedings in Lok Sabha are democratic. After heated arguments with TDP MPs, Kurien adjourned the house till 2 PM.
It is known that the Telangana Bill was passed yesterday in Lok Sabha amid huge confusion. Government even stopped the live telecast of the house proceedings and passed the bill in din. On the other side, Congress led UPA government is stubborn to pass the bill today itself in Rajya Sabha. We will have to see if Seema Andhra MPs will be suspended in Rajya Sabha too just like in Lok Sabha!
