Perni NaniThe State Cabinet Meeting has happened the other day and several key decisions were taken. I&PR Minister, Perni Nani briefed the media about the decisions of the cabinet later on in the day. When the media asked about Amaravati, the minister went on to say that Capital issue has not come up for discussion in the Cabinet meeting.

This is a very insensitive answer because the issue is so vital as a State without Capital is meaningless. Moreover, around 28,074 farmers came forward to give 34,010 acres of lands for the Capital. This is the future of them and their families.

The government just brushed its hands by releasing the lease amount when the farmers came on roads agitating. The government just can not allow the speculations to rein and kill the real-estate in the Capital. With this kind of behavior, if someone alleges that the Chief Minister is intentionally trying to kill Amaravati, the ruling party can not deny.

Chief Minister Jagan has been shying away from media ever since Minister Botsa Satyanarayana opened the Pandora Box by making adverse statements on Amaravati.
