A few days ago, there were media reports that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be the Chief Guest for the Acharya Pre-release event on 23rd April in Vijayawada.
There was a huge outcry from fans as such a move would affect Janasena’s prospects.
Acharya team kept mum and there were rumors that the event got shifted to Hyderabad and Powerstar Pawan Kalyan will be the Chief Guest.
There is no official confirmation about that. But Janasena party had announced Pawan Kalyan would visit West Godavari as a part of his Koulu Raithu Bharosa Yatra.
In all probability, the news about Pawan Kalyan attending Acharya Pre-release event is not true.
And at the same time, there is no indication from AP Government sources or the Acharya team that Jagan is attending this event.
If the CM is attending, with two days to go, there will be so much Hungama.
Maybe Chiranjeevi tried to play safe with the event – avoid Jagan for Janasena and avoid Pawan Kalyan for Jagan?
Acharya releases on the 29th of this month and the team have applied for a price hike permission with the AP government.
Even though the movie does not meet the criteria set by the government, they are banking on Chiranjeevi’s rapport with the CM to get it.
