Chilkur Balaji PriestIt seems the last-moment controversies are hounding the team of Adipurush. The ‘One Seat Empty For Hanuman’ call from the makers received a mixed response, and now the film has landed into another controversy.

Yesterday, the team of Adipurush performed a puja at the Shri Venkateswara Swami Temple in Tirupati, and the pictures and videos of the same are going viral on social media. In one of the pictures, Kriti Sanon was leaving after the puja, and director Om Raut bid her goodbye with a kiss. Now, that photo is going viral, and she is being trolled.

Some right-wing supporters, along with BJP members, took to their social media handles and started bashing Kriti Sanon and Om Raut for not maintaining decency at such a pious and holy place. This ‘kissing’ pic has ignited a discussion on social media, with some expressing their anger while others defended the actress and director, arguing against the need to create such a senseless controversy.

Also, the Chief Priest of the renowned Chilkur Balaji Temple, Rangarajan Chilkur, has jumped onto the bandwagon and is expressing his objections and concerns. He said, “I felt very sad to see Om Raut and Kriti Sanon behave indecently on the premises of Tirupati temple. Even married couples behave and maintain this decency in such places. But to see them openly hugging and kissing was a disgusting sight and hurt my religious sentiments.”

He added, “NTR and ANR displayed so much grace and dignity when they used to do roles based on Indian mythology. Even Nagarjuna as Annamayya was appreciable. But nowadays such dedication is lacking. Kriti Sanon is a misfit in the tole of Seetamma character.”

Prabhas fans have come to the defense against this controversy. One of them wrote, “What about women and men being in the same queue line for Darshanam pushing each other… Accidental groping is happening… You never had a problem with that?” Another wrote, “These guys sell literally all holy water, kumkum, and gandham for money. They make people who pay have more darshanam time, whereas devotees who walked and waited so long wud not even have a chance to see swami varu for even a few secs. He has no right to talk about morality.”
