Chennai on Boil for Jallikattu - Lesson for VizagThe peaceful protests that are happening in Chennai for the last one week demanding the ban on Jallikattu to be revoked took an ugly turn on Monday. Violence erupted as the mob in Marina Beach resorted to Anarchy. It all began with the torching of a Police Station near the beach.

Chennai is witnessing everything – Arson, Lathi Charge, Stone Pelting, Torching of Vehicles, Burnt Tyres, Attacks on Police Station. It is more or less confirmed that vested individuals have entered the protest of the students are leading the movement in a wrong direction.

It has a lesson for the organizers of the Special Status protest on 26th in RK Beach, Vishakapatnam. Even though the intent of the students is appreciable, politicians with vested interests are always looking for an opportunity to create arson in the state and benefit politically. They better watch out. The safety of innocent students and the image of the state is at risk if politicians are not kept at bay.
