Chandrababu naidu opens Polavaram secret in AssemblyAfter the tall claims of BJP and the Central government over the extensive help to Andhra Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announced what Center did for the state particularly for Polavaram Project. The state government had spent 1952 Crore in 2014-15 and 2485 Crore in 2015-16.

The Central government in this financial year only gave 345 Crore to the project which means the center did not reimburse at least half the amount spent by the state government in 2014-15. Which means the center is pending 4092 Crore to the state government only for Polavaram Project.

Despite this, Center has allocated only 100 Crore in the upcoming budget for the project which is a National Project. The other day, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had announced HUDCO giving funds for the project. HUDCO never gives funds for a project, it only gives loans at low interests. That means center is pushing Andhra Pradesh to loans despite they are bound to fund the national project.
