Reports are emerging that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu went an extra mile to give Reservations to the Kapu Community. It is said that Justice Manjunadha is not in favour of Reservations for Kapu Community and only recommended Financial Assistance.
But some members of the commission recommended Reservations. The state government went the extra mile to accept the report of the members and put up the bill for Reservations. On the other side, Justice Manjunadha went on to say he will submit his report to government very soon.
It has to be seen if this leads to a new controversy. On the other side, the state government had decided to create a new category BC-F so that these 5% reservations to Kapu Community will not disturb the current reservations of the BCs.
